2026 AGM NOTICE
The Australian Lions Wellbeing Foundation (ALWF) advises Lions and Leo Clubs across Multiple District 201 that the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Foundation will be held in Adelaide on Thursday 21 May 2026, commencing at 11:00 am at Rydges Hotel, 1 South Terrace, Adelaide.
The AGM provides an important opportunity for the Foundation to report on its activities, governance and progress in supporting wellbeing initiatives across Lions Clubs and the wider community.
There are no Notices of Motion proposed for the 2026 meeting. In accordance with the Foundation’s governance structure, Directors are appointed by the Board following applications received each November, therefore no Director election will be held at the AGM.
Each Constituent Member Club of the Foundation is entitled to one vote at the meeting.
Board Opportunities within the Foundation
The Foundation is also calling for applications from Lions interested in contributing to the future governance of the organisation.
Secretary/Treasurer Position
Applications are invited for the Secretary/Treasurer of the Foundation, with a four-year term commencing November 2026. Applications must be received by Friday 31 July 2026.
Applicants must:

Be a Lion in good standing

Be a member of a Constituent Member Club

Provide written endorsement from their club confirming their membership status
Director Position
Applications are also invited for the board positions of Director and Secretary / Treasurer positions, each for a four-year term commencing November 2026, with applications also closing Friday 31 July 2026.
Applicants must be members in good standing of a Constituent Member Club and include club endorsement with their application.
All applications will be considered by the Foundation Board at its November 2026 meeting in Sydney, where appointments will be made.
