October saw Lions Clubs right across Australia get behind the Roar for Wellbeing campaign as part of the Lions International Mental Health and Wellbeing Global Service Initiative, which also coinsided with Mental Health Month in Australia — and what an incredible impact you made!

Over 50 clubs and districts registered their events and received one of our free Wellbeing Resource Packs, filled with posters, bunting, stickers, brochures, and conversation starters designed to make it easy to host events that promote positive mental health and wellbeing. Once again our thanks go out to Ashgrove/The Gap Lions Club for their donation which enabled to provide these packs free of charge.

From morning teas, community walks, school events, family days, and talks, to coffee and chat events, wellbeing displays, and workshops, Lions across the country brought people together to talk about mental health, wellbeing, connection, and support.

Each event, no matter how big or small, contributed to building stronger, more connected communities — and showed the world how Lions are taking real action to support wellbeing across Australia.

We also saw a fantastic response online, with clubs sharing their photos, stories, and reflections on social media. The campaign page at alwf.org.au/roar attracted strong traffic, and our resources were downloaded by both Lions keen to take part.

A heartfelt thank you to every Lion and Leo who got involved — your enthusiasm and creativity made this campaign such a success.

Together, we truly did Roar for Wellbeing!
